Sustainable Frontiers: Integrating Systems for Food Security, Health, Housing and Humanity for Combating Global Challenges
Convened at Jelili Adebisi Omotola Hall in synergy with UNILAG's 2026 International Week, the 19th edition brought together over 500 researchers, policymakers, and industry executives across eight interdisciplinary tracks. Plenary keynotes were delivered by Prof. Nazmat Toyin Surajudeen-Bakinde (VC, USET The Gambia) on entrepreneurship and technical education synergies, and Prof. Nick Vaughan-Williams (Provost, University of Birmingham, UK) on global surgery partnerships and patient safety advances in Nigeria. A high-level Industry-Academia forum moderated by UNILAG Business School (ULBS) tackled translational research and venture incubation, while the Research Fair exhibited breakthrough prototypes in biotechnology, clean energy, and food systems. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Folasade Ogunsola, FAS, was represented by Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Management Services) Prof. Muyiwa Falaiye. Conference proceedings and journal publications are led by Journal Editor Dr. Unwana Samuel Akpan (University of Lagos) and Guest Editor Dr. Ebenezer Adebisi Olawuyi (University of Ibadan).

The Future of Work, Education and Wellbeing in the AI Age
Organised into six subtheme tracks spanning education, environmental monitoring, business, and public health, with oral and poster sessions across the sciences and humanities. Over 120 participants attended. Professor Solomon Okunuga, Chairman of the Conference Planning Committee and Director of the Research Management Office, delivered the official communique, and Professor Bola Oboh, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and Research), gave the closing remarks.

Digital Transformation for Inclusive Higher Education
Held at the Tayo Aderinokun Hall alongside the university's 4th International Week, themed "Inclusive Digital Transformation and the University Promise." Abstract submission closed August 23, 2024, with full papers due September 20, 2024.
